Yes, any brawler has the limit to choosing three different Bakugan per game. However, if you have a Guardian Bakugan, it is not counted in the choices, leaving room for one more Bakugan in your force. While the Guardian makes room for the other three, the amount of Bakugan that can be thrown per round does not change. Another rule that has been overlooked here is the fact that Jake27 is using material he has purchased but is not yet in his Brawling Profile.
