Despite Prince Hydron's objections, Spectra sends Mira and Gus to challenge Dan and Ace with Hydron's new Mechanical Bakugan. Meanwhile, Baron commands new respect from Volt by easily finishing off Brontes while Marucho and Shun defeat Mylene and Shadow Prove in a tandem attack. The guys rush to Dan and Ace's side to find them in an intense brawl with Mira and Gus. Mira seems to be fighting fiercely but continually makes mistakes that Dan and Ace are quick to capitalize on. Tired of Mira's missteps, Gus shoves her out of the way, taking control of the battle and challenging Dan and Ace with everything he's got.
