As the Bakugan Battle Brawler Resistance and their Bakugan fly up to Vespalace to free their friends from Prince Hydron, the Vestal monarch reveals another line of defense; a final Dimension Controller. The surprised Bakugan revert to ball form, dropping the brawlers. Shun saves Marucho and Mira but Dan, Ace and Baron plummet to almost certain doom until Drago, Nemus and Percival come through at the last second. Meanwhile, Hydron learns of Spectra's betrayal from Lync, whose own loyalties are tested when he is confronted by the rest of the Vexos. As Shun, Marucho and Mira invade the palace, Spectra uses Mechanical Bakugan to tip the scales in Cyborg Helios' final battle with Drago. Dan takes a desperate chance to give the Bakugan Battle Brawler Resistance a chance at victory... Drago must combine with the six mechanical Bakugan Dan won from Mira for a final showdown between the two ultimate Bakugan.
